We at Silverglades Holiday Homes lie to the north of the picturesque highland village of Aviemore set beneath the majestic Cairngorms Mountains, in the Cairngorms National Park. It is an area highly valued for its breathtaking scenery, rare habitats and recreational activities that the whole family can take part in. We have 16 self catering holiday homes available all of which are pet friendly. Our holiday accommodation is rated between 3 star and 4 star, and each comes with their own private garden, BBQ, patio area, private parking and they are fully equipped to meet all your holiday needs throughout your stay.
Our holiday homes can cater up to 10 people depending upon your choice of home with 1 to 4 bedrooms in each, and they are also tastefully decorated to give you a luxury home from home feel. Imagine you standing in your spacious holiday home looking out on the amazing views Cairngorms National Park has to offer whilst your four-legged friend is either cosying up by the wood burner or having fun in the garden.
As doggy people ourselves, we know more than most how hard it is to find good quality accommodation that welcomes your whole family plus your dogs. That’s why we aim to make Silverglades as dog friendly as possible! Upon arrival, all our doggy guests well be given a ‘Doggy Welcome Pack’ to use during their stay. Each pack contains: a stainless steel dog bowl, a paw print dog blanket, doggy doo bags, maps of good dog walks, and Silverglades Doggy Code.
The village of Aviemore is an all season resort, offering visitors a varied and exciting events throughout the year. This unique environment provides an ideal holiday destination for people of all ages and ability, at any time of the year whether that being the glorious summer months or the snowy winter months. Silverglades has teamed up with ‘Full On Adventure’ to offer you a range of discounted activities with your accommodation – get active by trying something new! Families are also catered for with family focused attractions which are both set indoor and outdoor.
We are based in an ideal location for exploring the Spey Valley and the Highlands. With county fields and views of the Cairngorms as well as being just 5 minutes walk away (by shortcut path) from Aviemore’s shops, restaurants, pubs, cinema and leisure facilities, we really are the perfect place to take that much needed holiday. We are even just a short walk away from the Spey Valley Golf Course and Dalfaber Country club leisure facilities.
