Stables Lodge
We at Stables Lodge are a beautifully renovated Victorian stables building that are providing 7 self-contained en-suite apartments, each of which sleep up to 4 or 5 people. They each have a lounge area, gallery bedrooms and a fully-fitted kitchen. We are ideally set in a beautiful rural area in Derbyshire, for overnight stop-offs, weekend breaks, family holidays and special events. Our extensive grounds with large grassed areas provide plenty of safe space for children to run around and have fun. We are also pet-friendly so we have a secure dog-run too. Some of our lodges however are maintained ‘pet-free’ and are available on request if that is what you prefer.
Each of our self-contained suites has private adjacent car parking and enjoys uninterrupted views across the open, picturesque countryside. Each of our Lodges are split between two levels with stairs leading to a tastefully decorated gallery master bedroom. The ground floor has the lounge area which features a double sofa bed, coffee table, breakfast bar and flat-screen TV with Freeview, plus a fully-fitted kitchen with all the essential modern appliances including Hotpoint oven and hob, fridge and internal freezer, microwave oven and toaster. Each suite also has a free WiFi connection & hot/cold air-conditioning, and they are equipped with bed linen, bath and hand towels, a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, crockery, glassware and cutlery – everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Our Lodges are fully equipped for mobility issues too.
We also offer an extensive, luxurious accommodation option too – our Penthouse Suite. It has a large west facing balcony with lounge seating area which has delightful views.
We have a unique self-catering Function Suite too on the grounds of Stables Lodge and is perfect for small private parties and special events. The facility is available for hire to those who are occupying a minimum of four lodges, Fridays and Saturdays. You can either organise your own catering or we are able to get you in touch with some recommended outside caterers. For much larger events you can arrange for a marquee to be erected on the adjacent field by special request.
