Suffolk Pet & Horse Crematorium
We at Suffolk Pet & Horse Crematorium are a family run Crematorium set in the picturesque and peaceful grounds of Lower Farm, just outside of Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk and close to Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire. We have an experienced team on-hand to help you at this most difficult time. Here we can give you the space you need to grieve, reflect and mourn the loss of your special friend. Our service has become renowned for being both personal and comforting. As pet owners ourselves, we understand what you are going through and will ensure that your beloved pet’s final journey is carried out in the most sensitively and respectfully way. Giving your beloved pet a dignified farewell is your last act of love you can give, and we are here to make sure that they get exactly that.
Our bespoke service is available to those who have recently lost a pet, or those who are expecting a loss – if your pet is ill or nearing the end of its life, or if you would simply like to find out what the process is, you are more than welcome to contact us in advance. We even offer a collection service.
When you come to our premises, you will be greeted by one of our friendly and welcoming team members, who will be on-hand to help with your pets final journey. From here, you can spend time with your pet and say a proper goodbye in our Farewell Room. You can then browse some of our urns and caskets or pay a visit to the lake of remembrance where you can quietly reflect on the fond memories you had together. We will never rush you and will always give you the appropriate time and space you need.
We take great pride in ourselves for having pet’s ashes reunited with their owners within 24 hours and sometimes sooner than that depending on timings (please note that for larger animals such as horses & ponies this timescale is longer). All clients will receive a certificate of cremation with your pet’s name and the date of cremation on, as well as a packet of memorial forget-me-not seeds to scatter wherever you wish. We even allow owners to be present during the cremation of their pet if you feel this is something you would like to do.
Please do not hesitate to get in contact with us for further information on any of our services – we would love to hear from you! Alternatively you can visit our social media pages to hear about our latest news and deals.
