Pattard Cottages
We at Pattard Cottages have three lovely pet friendly cottages available which are personally decorated and fully furnished. They are all nestled in the heart of the countryside, perfectly located for a perfect holiday, whether that be a long or short weekend or a leisurely mid-week break. We are situated in the parish of Hartland North Devon at Pattard, a 90 acre farm. This is an area of outstanding Natural beauty with its picturesque views of the wooded valley and amazing cliff top walks. We are also within easy reach of Hartland (0.5 miles) and the coast (approx 2 miles).
If you would like to bring your pets with you then we must say they must be controlled. You will be staying on a farm where there are animals. Also, pets do come with a surcharge of £20 per week.
Our 3 cottages include:
The Linhay – It sleeps 4 people with 1 double and 1 twin bedroom. We converted this from an old cart and grain store completed in Spring 2005. It has all its original oak posts and we have used oak throughout which was sourced from our farm to blend in with older material. Like the other cottages it has a kitchen, living room, bedrooms, bathroom and all the much needed amenities for a comfortable stay.
The Stables – It sleeps 6 people with 1 double and 2 twin bedrooms. It is beautifully converted from an old Stable which was completed in spring 2007. We have tried to use most of its original oak features inside and we have to say we believe this is the best of the conversions as you can view the barn owls nestling in a shed overlooking the Stable.
The Granary – It sleeps 8 people with 2 doubles and 2 twin bedrooms. It is a beautiful conversion of the old roundhouse and grain barn completed back in spring 2004. We have really tried to do this as sympathetically as possible with all the floors upstairs, in the bedrooms downstairs and in the roundhouse are all wooden and the roof trusses have been left exposed. The Granary is also right next to a 2 acre field which visitors are free to use.
