St. Edmunds Guest House
We at the St. Edmunds welcome all to stay in our quaint, pet friendly guest house. So if you feel like a break, then you should come to us in Paignton, in Devon and relax in either one of our luxury rooms or out in our garden alongside some of Torbay’s famous palm trees. You and your dog will be on holiday from the moment you arrive. Coming by car? You will be pleased to hear then, we have enough car parking space for every guest, otherwise you can use Torbay transport as it is frequent and good.

We have seven comfortable, en-suite rooms available. We have rooms that can suit all group size, there are family, twin, double and single rooms, three of which are on the ground floor – a double, a single and one that can be made up as a double or twin. All of our rooms are bright, fresh and tastefully decorated, with a good, free WiFi signal (which can be accessed throughout the house) and great facilities. We must also mention, we are a non-smoking house.
Every morning you can wake up to one of our delicous breakfasts served in our delightful dining room. Breakfast is a personal choice at St Edmunds, whether it is a ‘full English’ you desire or simply a bowl of cereal, toast or preserves, you will get exactly what you want. We like to give guests the opportunity to choose their own meal to set themselves up for the exciting day ahead.
As mentioned, we are a pet friendly guest house, so if you are hoping to take your 4-legged friend on holiday with you, then we are the perfect place for you! With our sunny garden and patio available for them to run around in and the sea front only a short walk away, we are more than sure they will have the time of their life. All you need to do is bring their doggy bed with you!

We have just spent 6 nights here and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were incredibly well looked after throughout. We brought our three dogs, who had daily treats and sausages for breakfast, as well as plenty of cuddles and beach walks within a couple of minutes of the guest house. I was catered for superbly, being gluten and dairy free, with a full breakfast (including GF toast, DF spread and GF sausages!). I even had free biscuits in the room. We couldn’t have asked for any more and will certainly be back to sample more of their wonderful hospitality.’

We stayed over the weekend and loved it! Owners Jill and Tony are lovely and make us all including our border collie feel very welcome. The guest house is lovely, very clean and the food is lovely – even our dog got a sausage each breakfast. The rooms were well decorated, clean and had all the essentials plus a few biscuits and treats for the dog! We will be back for sure, cannot recommend it enough!
