The Green Man
We at The Green Man are a traditional country pub set in the heart of the West Sussex countryside on ‘The Green’ in the beautiful village of Horsted Keynes. Our village pub is packed full of character with its wooden floorboards and classic inglenook fireplace which is perfect for those cold days. The main bar is open for those looking to sample our selection of good, well kept range of real ales & wines, and we serve the best home cooked food around and have become renowned for our delicious roasts on Sundays.
Here we have a authentic good old pub atmosphere, which is accompanied by a genuine welcome to all locals and guests, and to both children & dogs as well. We have a good outside area for you to both dine or to just have a drink, where you will end up with a most convivial atmosphere almost from a bygone age.
Owned by Greene King, our tenanted house serves three different regular beers and one changing beer (including Timothy Taylors, “Landlord” and “Abbot Ale”) as well as various other largers, ciders and spirits. Our regularly changing lunchtime and evening meals suit a range of tastes and are freshly prepared by our experienced chef. Every Thursday, we have a steak night and have £10 meal deals on both Monday and Tuesday evenings. We have tables both inside and out, at the front and rear of the pub. As an added bonus we also have music and quiz nights!
Our Food Serving Times are:
- Monday to Friday: 12pm – 2:30pm / 6pm – 9pm
- Saturday: 12pm – 3pm / 6pm – 9pm
- Sunday: 12pm – 4pm
