The Muddled Man
Amongst the hills, churches & rural beauty of the small village of West Chinnock sits this interesting and quirky pub, and Inn that encourages a sense of humour but takes food, real ales and whisky very seriously.
We are a pet friendly, traditional local’s pub that offers well priced and excellent food. You can choose from a pub food menu using locally sourced ingredients, we are always keen to use Somerset-reared beef & Pork. Our Steaks come directly from the Scottish Highlands. For Sunday Lunch you can also expect the Farm fresh ingredients on the Sunday Roast, with local pork and vegetables served up at the table.
We offer 12 different West Country SIBA breweries on rotation so there will always be something you like. Advance bookings are advisable on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and for bigger parties, the skittle alley and function room is available for private hire seating between 10 and 80.
The Muddled Man is situated at the heart of the ancient village of West Chinnock, nestling at the Ham Hill Ridge line just south of Yeovil. Surrounded by stunning countryside, this late 18th Century British pub has two en-suite rooms to delight those in search of good drink, good food and real comfort.
