Carr House Rescue Centre
Based in Hull, East Yorkshire, our renowned dog rescue centre finds loving homes for all stray dogs that have been taken off the streets of Hull by the council’s dog wardens. Established since 1994, our family run kennels have been giving abandoned dogs a safe place to stay, regardless of their breed and finding them a family that will love and take care of them.
Every dog in our centre has received the very best medical care, attention, and TLC. When you adopt one of our four-legged friends, we do ask for a small donation, which includes your new family member being microchipped, and we also want to make sure you can actually afford to get a new dog too. To make your dog safe from disease, Haven Veterinary Group offers a special affordable rate for vaccinations as well.
You can check out the dogs we have in our care on our website and on our social media pages, however we do believe it is important that you also come and visit us as you can get a better idea of the dog’s temperament and your compatibility with your chosen dog. It is difficult to supply accurate information about the dogs we seek homes for as we can only judge them based on their time in our kennels, and many dogs find kennels quite stressful and consequently, so they do not give a good first impression when you visit. We would greatly appreciate your understanding with this, and recommend that you persevere with your potential new family member. You can take them out into our fields and gain their trust and see for yourself what they are like, and we can also arrange for the dog to visit your home to ensure you are completely compatible with each other.
